Julia Horne is the founder of Juma’s Journeys—a joyful, multicultural education business bringing rhythm, colour, and connection into early years learning.
Based in London, Julia is a proud mum, foster mum, and creative force who’s turning big ideas (and a little mayhem) into something magical. Through music, movement, and global storytelling, Juma’s Journeys helps children explore the world around them—starting in preschool and stretching all the way to pre-teens.
What started as spontaneous parent-and-baby classes is now a thriving, purpose-led business. Julia and her team deliver school workshops, train teachers, and offer curated subscription boxes that make culture playful, inclusive, and accessible for every family.
Driven by her own neurodivergence, Julia brings an energetic, out-of-the-box approach to everything she creates. Her mission? To help children feel seen, celebrated, and curious—wherever they’re from and wherever they’re going.
She’s building more than a business. She’s building a future where multicultural learning isn’t a ‘nice extra’—it’s the foundation.
Her superpower? Turning music and movement into lifelong tools for empathy, joy, and global connection.
