Karen Minsky is President of Dionis Goat Milk Skincare, a woman-founded brand established in 1982 that has grown to serve nearly 6,000 retailers including Ulta and Macy’s. Leading a team of 150+ employees, Karen has become known for her fearless approach to scaling businesses—and her refusal to accept rejection.
Her journey to Dionis began unexpectedly: after trying the hand cream at a red light during a job interview, Karen knew she had found her calling. What followed was a “bull in a china shop” approach to retail distribution that included stalking buyers on LinkedIn, showing up at corporate offices unannounced, and building a brand on the radical belief that product truth beats beautiful packaging every time.
A mother of three boys and New Yorker at heart, Karen recently launched her own podcast exploring how women navigate motherhood and business. She’s a testament to the power of certainty, persistence, and choosing to love the hard parts of entrepreneurship.
